The chip set for the workforce range contains a CR2032 3 Volt Lithium battery. This battery has approximately a 3 year life. This battery retails for around $4.00-$5.00 and is readily available at most major retail stores.

The cartridges and the CISS is specially designed to ensure that the battery does not to put any extra weight or pressure on the print head allowing it to function as normal and ensure there is no damage to the printer or the print head.

RIHAC compatible inks are available on our website and are the Epson C79 series inks (click here to go to the C79 inks page). These inks are 'model specific'. This simply means we have produced the inks to be an exact match to the colours produced by the original cartridges.
