The chip set for the workforce range contains a CR2032 3 Volt Lithium battery. This battery has approximately a 3 year life. This battery retails for around $4.00-$5.00 and is readily available at most major retail stores.

The cartridges and the CISS is specially designed to ensure that the battery does not to put any extra weight or pressure on the print head allowing it to function as normal and ensure there is no damage to the printer or the print head.

RIHAC compatible inks are available on our website and are the Epson C79 inks. These inks are 'model specific'. This simply means we have produced the inks to be an exact match to the colours produced by the original cartridges.

That depends how much you print. Obviously, the more you print the more you will be saving.

Consider it this way, the Epson T140 cartridges have approximately 10mls of usable ink inside. Epson cartridges retails for around $36 for the black & $26 for the colours (prices correct as of May 2011 via officeworks online*)

Our CISS is prefilled with 400ml of Rihac ink and is equivalant to approximately 40 Epson cartridges which would cost you about $1150.00 to purchase seperately.
