IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This unit contains dye based inks and not pigment based inks as used in the OEM cartridges. Fade life of dye inks is sigificantly lower then Pigment based inks which are not suitable for use in large volume due to settlement issues. Dye ink does offer some benefits as it produces a more vivid print due to the way it reflects light and is suitable for use on high gloss papers.

That depends how much you print. Obviously, the more you print the more you will be saving.

Consider it this way, the Epson T0540- T0549 cartridges have approximately 10mls of usable ink inside. Epson T0540- T0549 cartridges retails for around $26 each (prices correct as of May 2001 via officeworks online*)

Our CISS is prefilled with 640ml of Rihac ink and is equivalent to approximately 60 Epson cartridges which would cost you about $1560.00 to purchase separately.
