That depends how much you print. Obviously, the more you print the more you will be saving.

Consider it this way, the PG-40 & CL-41 or PG-50 CL-51Series Canon cartridges have approximately 20mls of usable ink inside. Physically they may contain slightly more but the cartridge is not actually empty when the chip sends the signal to the printer.

Canon 40/41 cartridges are around $42 for Black & $43.50 for Tri -Colour each. Our CISS is pre-filled with 100mls of each coloured ink (rihac Platinum Premium Ink), so in dollar terms that is approximately $850.00 worth of cartridges if bought separately.
