Please Note: This product requires the specially modified printer firmware to be purchased and installed on the printer. The modified firmware will tell the printer that it has ink cartridges installed that always have a full ink volume. This means it is necessary from time to time to visually check the cartridges have ink (as you no longer have an ink monitor).

The modified firmware is free to download and install, however, you will need to purchase an activation key to enable the firmware. The firmware can be downloaded from Inkchip.net by clicking here. You can purchase an activation from their website at $60USD. We do purchase activation keys in bulk and can offer them slightly cheaper and in AUD by calling us directly on (03) 9005 5555 (open 9-5pm Mon-Fri)

The modified firmware needs to be installed using a windows PC via USB (no Mac alternative), however once installed the printer can be used via wifi and also on a Mac if required. It is only the firmware installation and activation that needs to be done via USB connection to a PC.

Once the firmware is activated simply fill the cartridge with our Premium Resin Encapsulated Photo Pro Pigment inks found by clicking here, and install as per genuine Epson cartridges.

When you notice the ink level is low in the refillable cartridge simply remove and refill the cartridge
