These cartridges are extremely easy to refill, simply remove the plug and pour in the ink. It is essential that you use an ink specifically formulated for use in the Epson 4900, such as our resin encapsulated Premium Platinum Photo Pro Pigment inks (available here) and install as per genuine Epson cartridges. This product is fitted with an auto reset ink level chip. Once a cartridge indicates empty, simply remove and refill. No chip resetter required. The ink level will automatically reset to full when re-inserting the ink cartridge. The cartridges can be installed one at a time and used in conjunction with original Epson ink cartridges, allowing you to replace with refillable cartridges as you empty your genuine cartridges.
